This software release includes Ovi Store, which lets you download new applications for your device. With this release, the Maps application is faster, and the FM transmitter now sends song and artist information. You can also set ringing tones directly from Music player.
This release also brings Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, so you can synchronise data between your device and your Microsoft Exchange 2003 inbox, calendar, and contacts. ActiveSync support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 is also extended to include global address list (GAL) lookup.
This update is available as an automatic over-the-air Maemo update sent directly to your device. Alternatively, this software release is available through the Nokia Software Updater.
